Headline and Story

Weather got better..from rain and stormy to very hot!!

It took 6 hrs of car journey with heavy traffic & road works, but it's all worth it especially seeing the happy faces of the children. It was lovely to finally meet them and the headteacher Mr. Besabella and some of his staff. The school has almost 860 students & 25 teachers. Sheeana & Eliza had spent sometime in the year 5 class observing the children during playtime. We also visit other classes. We also meet some of the parents. They're usually there from 7 am until school finishes at 4 to 4.30 pm as most of them travelled so far away so they stay there for the whole day.

Well, we arrived safely in Mactan Airport! It's cooler here than we expected (very stormy!) and we are hoping to make our first trip to St. Remigio School in the next few days. We're being hindered by the rain; the roads are dangerous to travel during storms and bad weather. We will keep you all updated as things progress here :)

Crowdfunder Image

I am about to launch a crowdfunding project and need your support now. It is critical that we get off to a good start as this momentum will encourage others to pledge - so please take a moment to look at my project crowdfunder.co.uk/angels-for-children and pledge whatever you can - there are some great rewards on offer!

Welcome Image

Welcome to the new look site for Angels for Children, we hope you like it and find it just as easy to use. We found that the old site was becoming increasingly hard to maintain and extend, so sought to redesign, to allow us to continue to add contents in a far more flexible way.

Let us know if you have any comments, suggestions or improvements.
